Thanks for posting

Thanks for putting the questions in the comment section here. I was out of the office unable to listen to the show on Wednesday of last week and was sleeping off the flu on Thursday and Friday, also not listening, and had an interview yesterday during the game.

Thanks again for keeping things up to date.

-Until next time...

  5. Erik (or Eric) was today's unfortunate contestant.

Unfortunate because he was the victim of what I think was a pronunciation error.

The Question was the "only seaport of Astro-Hungarian....."

He answered Trieste but pronounced it tree-sta instead of Tree-esta which I believe to be the correct pronunciation & what Brian stated "it is not pronounced like that" or something to that effect.

  9. Douglas on line 3 today.

Again... very unfortunate for Douglas but I think he was the victim of semantics.

Question: What New Orleans Bar on Espanada Ave. has a full bar, pool table, coin laundry, & is open 24 hrs. day?

    Douglas answered: Igor's Checkpoint Charlie

When this was answered CORECTLY a few fewws ago, Brian sort of "corrected" the caller when he answered "Checkpoint Charlie" by saying: "Checkpoint Charley's" is correct.

SO... I believe from that response and by what Bob said today ("check your facts") that Dougls forgot to say Igor's Checkpoint Charley'S (don't forget the posessive "S" on Charlie.

  10. I agree JT that he wants the 's' on the end. I also get the impression that Brian doesn't care about the 'igor' on the beginning either and might even call someone out on that if he felt like it.

  11. You may be right. A while ago when the question was first answered and accepted as correct, he omitted "Igor's" in his confirmation of the answer.
